Meet the Founder

Hello, and welcome to Whisper Forest Ways! My name is Ruthe Robersonic, and I’m thrilled to share my passion for nature, wellness, and survival with you.

I founded this platform to create a community where people can reconnect with the outdoors, explore its healing power, and discover the beauty and wisdom it holds.

Whether you’re here to learn forest survival skills or seeking mindfulness and inner peace, Whisper Forest Ways is a reflection of my own journey and dedication to helping others grow through nature.

My Early Connection to Nature

Nature has always been a part of me. I was fortunate enough to grow up in a small town surrounded by the beauty of a vast national forest. As a child, I spent countless hours hiking, camping, and exploring the woods with my family.

My parents, who were both avid hikers and passionate about environmental conservation, passed down to me their deep respect for the natural world. They taught me how to forage, build shelters, and truly read the land, lessons that became the foundation of my love for outdoor survival.

Those early experiences in the wilderness shaped who I am today. From the quiet moments of reflection by a stream to the challenges of navigating rugged terrain, nature always offered me a place to learn, grow, and find peace. Even as I grew older, I continued to seek refuge in the outdoors whenever life became stressful or overwhelming.

Turning My Passion into My Life’s Work

Though my heart was always in nature, it wasn’t until college that I truly began to understand the full impact it had on my well-being. While studying environmental science, I often turned to the wilderness for solace.

It became more than just a place to explore — it became a sanctuary where I could practice mindfulness and regain clarity. This realization was the turning point in my life, as I saw how nature could not only teach us survival but also help us heal emotionally and mentally.

After graduation, I pursued a career in environmental conservation and outdoor education, where I had the privilege of working as a wilderness guide.

Those years guiding others through remote landscapes were incredibly rewarding. I saw firsthand how people from all walks of life — especially those from urban environments — would arrive in the wilderness unsure and unprepared, but leave with a new sense of confidence, peace, and appreciation for the natural world.

These experiences made me realize that I wanted to do more. I wanted to create a space where people could not only learn essential outdoor survival skills but also experience the wellness and mindfulness benefits that come from spending time in nature. That’s how Whisper Forest Ways was born.

The Inspiration Behind Whisper Forest Ways

When I created Whisper Forest Ways, I envisioned it as a platform where people could come to embrace nature in all its forms. I wanted to share everything I’d learned — from building shelters and foraging to practicing mindfulness in the woods.

For me, the outdoors is so much more than a place to hike or camp; it’s a source of personal transformation, a place where we can find balance, strength, and a deeper connection to ourselves.

Through Whisper Forest Ways, I aim to provide resources that inspire others to feel confident and empowered in nature. Whether it’s through detailed survival guides, hiking trail recommendations, or meditation practices, I want this platform to be a trusted companion for anyone looking to deepen their connection with the natural world.

I believe that the skills we gain in the wilderness — patience, resilience, mindfulness — are invaluable not only in outdoor settings but also in our everyday lives.

Nature, Mindfulness, and Wellness: My Approach

Over the years, I’ve become a firm believer in the healing power of nature. It’s a belief that fuels everything I do at Whisper Forest Ways. I’ve seen how spending time in the outdoors can reduce stress, improve mental clarity, and foster emotional well-being.

In fact, I’m also a certified mindfulness instructor, and I specialize in teaching mindfulness techniques that are closely tied to nature. Practices like forest bathing, mindful hiking, and meditation in the wild have been transformative in my life, and I love sharing these techniques with others through our platform.

I also find that survival skills and mindfulness often go hand-in-hand. Both require you to be present, patient, and resourceful — qualities that are essential for navigating the wilderness and life itself. Whisper Forest Ways is my way of offering these insights and practices to a wider audience, and I truly believe that by reconnecting with nature, we can lead healthier, more balanced lives.

A Hands-On Approach

I’m deeply involved in every aspect of Whisper Forest Ways. From curating the content to interacting with our community, I take a hands-on approach because I want this platform to reflect my values and vision. I write many of the guides and articles myself, ensuring they provide practical, actionable advice for everyone from beginners to seasoned adventurers.

I also love connecting with the community we’ve built. Whether it’s through our online forums, social media, or live workshops, I’m always eager to hear your stories and answer your questions. I’ve learned so much from the people who engage with Whisper Forest Ways, and it’s my hope that we can continue to grow together as we explore the outdoors and embrace the wellness benefits it offers.

Looking Ahead

I’m excited about the future of Whisper Forest Ways and where it’s headed. I’m working on expanding our offerings to include more interactive content, like virtual workshops, guided meditations, and even community challenges. My dream is to create a space where you can not only learn survival and wellness skills but also connect with others who share your passion for nature.

In addition, I’m planning to lead in-person retreats, where participants can immerse themselves in nature while learning essential survival techniques, practicing mindfulness, and focusing on holistic wellness. These retreats will be an extension of everything Whisper Forest Ways stands for — a chance to step away from the daily grind and truly experience the healing and transformative power of the natural world.
